The CPS Chair
The CPS Chair is a member of the TSANZ Executive Committee/Council and is the person responsible for co-ordinating the Society's ASM and its Advanced Courses.
The incoming CPS Chair would assume office from the annual Council meeting which will take place during the TSANZ ASM (usually held in March).
The CPS Chair will:
- Co-ordinate/oversee the planning of the educational content of Annual Scientific Meetings, Advanced Courses and any Joint Meetings of the Society with other Societies or the RACP when such occur
- coordinate the contributions of Special Interest Groups to these meetings.
- be responsible for checking and giving approval for the content and speakers for Satellite Symposia held in association with the Annual Scientific Meeting.
- work with the TSANZ PCO to organise the Annual Scientific Meeting and Advanced Courses
- ensure there is an appropriately constituted local organizing committee for the ASM
- co-ordinate and control all sponsorship for meetings in association with the TSANZ PCO
- ensure that a budget for each meeting is developed in collaboration with the TSANZ PCO and TSANZ Treasurer
- seek Society sponsorship in conjunction with the TSANZ PCO.
