Lung Foundation Australia and the Greenwood Family are proud to announce three (3) Travel Grants of up to $3,000/ grant for attendance at the forthcoming International Colloquium on Lung and Airway Fibrosis (ICLAF) 2018
These travel grants have been made possible through the generous donation of the Greenwood Family who in honour of their mother Eleanor, have first-hand experience of the devastating impact ILD has on families.
These travel grants are open to health professionals or researchers in Australia whose work is focused on improving the understanding of Interstitial Lung Disease.
Each travel grant aims to provide key health professionals/researchers in Australia who work with patients suffering from ILD or have research projects specific to ILD, the opportunity to attend an international conference. This travel grant may be used to cover any or all of the following participant costs to attend the conference for which the Travel Grant has been awarded including:–
Number of Grants available: 3 (three)
Three Travel Grants will be allocated for the 20th International Colloquium on Lung and Airway Fibrosis (ICLAF 2018) scheduled 14-18th October 2018 Pacific Grove California USA.
The applicant must be able to provide a signed letter of support from their employer or supervisor permitting and supporting their attendance at this particular conference.
Upon return from the conference, the applicant must provide a half page summary of the benefits to attending the conference including any key learnings that may be implemented in patient care or for their research project and a registration badge as proof of attendance.
Weighting will be given as follows:
Applicant has submitted an accepted abstract – scored on scientific merit
Value of Attendance for Applicant and organisation
Demonstrates how attendance may improve understanding in ILD
Demonstrated financial need
ICLAF is an excellent opportunity for health professionals/researchers to learn about the latest research, medicines, products and services specific to Lung and Airway Fibrosis diseases and provides important networking opportunities.

Applications Close: email applications to be submitted via TSANZ portal by 5pm, Friday 3rd August 2018 (AEST).
Successful applicants advised, confirmation letter sent.
Unsuccessful applicants advised
Finalisation of any outstanding Travel Grant claim
Half page written summary of the benefits and key learnings in attending the conference to be supplied to Lung Foundation Australia within four weeks.
